In 1985, Stacy Claire Boyd started the company in her New York apartment. She has hand-painted party invitations and announcements for Caroline Kennedy and Kathy Lee Gifford, among others. Interested in reaching out to a larger audience, Stacy decided, in 1989, to begin using the printing press to reproduce her designs, while maintaining the hand-painted look and feel. The printed designs are enhanced with ribbons, bows, buttons, flowers, and other add-ons, which allows each order to be further personalized. Today, the
line has expanded to include birth announcements, party invitations, calling cards, holiday cards, as well as youth and adult stationery. Her designs are fresh and fun.
